The Art of Dreaming by Carlos Casteneda

This is a great book. Its the story of Calros Casteneda as he tells about his Dreaming teaching from Don Juan, the sorcerer. Its a great book to learn about "lucid dreaming" and the like. It is relevent to this thread in that he also mentions that Don Juan has him take herbs and the like to help through his journey. I've learned that while reading this book some ganja can help boost the experience.

Man, u really are a stupid dumass. Clearly the only thing you have "learned" is how to smoke pot -and be a dumass. Dumass.

 

this is an excellent book that unveils the possibility of the other realms

I must note not to take him literally...
he made all that stuff up
but he did it in a shamanic reflection
it's absolutely beautiful, one of my favorite books ever.

anyway to the OP, that sounds like a really interesting book, i might have to try and find it as i've been reading stalks thread about lucid dreaming and am interested to know more.

 

swim has blazed and read don juan. for the few times swim tried it it certainly boosted the reading experience - have found it hit or miss with other books

haven't read the art of dreaming, but have read a few others by him. will check it out next round

have really enjoyed his style so far.
