Okay so i have never smoked a blunt and wanna try one. i consider myself an ace joint roller, but i am unable to roll even the sloppiest of blunts!!! So ya, I could use some help.. I have watched someone roll a blunt, watched vids on youtube, but still i fail. my problem comes with the rolling part of the process. One of several things always happens: I will either tear that dam fragile paper, the outside flimsy layer peels off and I am left with just the inner softer paper, the paper wont stick if i do get it rolled, or i fuck up the process in some other way. I have tried usin less filling in the blunt, tried rolling with just the inner soft layer of paper, etc. I am currently trying with Phillies (i heard they supposed to be very inpervious to tearing, but I have proven that speculation wrong!) but have tried and failed with swishers before as well. PLEASE! any tips would be appreciated... i dont want to miss out on the joy of a good blunt (or have to have other people roll them for me). Thanks! alright well im someone who just recently learned how to roll good blunts so i know what your goin through. my first suggestion would be not to use a philly, every time i have seen someone try n roll with one the paper splits. my favorite are peach or grape optimos, or there's also the classic swisher. to split the cigar, if you really cant do it, just use a damn knife. or what seems to work is use a knife or something sharp to just create a definite crease in the paper. if there is a good enough crease in the paper then when you try and split the cigar it should rip right down the crease. put the weed in the wrap, shape it just like you would a j. a rookie mistake is that they will try and connect both sides of the paper with no licking, then try and lick it when the two sides of the paper are already on top of one another. try licking whatever the side thats going to go on top before you stick it on the other paper. what i mean is dont lick the outside of the paper at all for the most part, LICK THE TOBACCO PAPER UNDERNEATH THE OUTER CIGAR PAPER. best advice i ever got was that IF THE TOBACCO PAPER IS LICKED GOOD ENOUGH IT WILL ALWAYS STICK TO THE CIGAR PAPER, BUT CIGAR PAPER WILL ALMOST NEVER STICK TO CIGAR PAPER. so lick underneath (the tobacco paper) and fold it on top of the cigar paper on the other side. it should almost always stick then once you get the hang of that part it is pretty easy. i try to roll it a little bit tighter for the mouth piece and make sure when its all rolled up there is a little bit of green left over for you to pack into the blunt with a pen or something to make it a bit tighter and packed in more. I hope this helped and i hope you can understand it, i tried to make it as clear as possible but my blunts have been damn good lately and if you can follow this your blunts should be too.
my man try and make sure the stick isnt to dry, ive been using white owls and they come in mini ziplock bags so they are pretty fresh. other than that, if the paper rips, that just means you'll have to lick more. dont be to worried about licking to much either. some people dont like it if you lick it a lot, but oh well. Liking is the way to conquer a dry stick.
haha, blunts arent really my thing either. I can roll killer joints, but blunts can be a hassle sometimes. I can get the blunt ready, like get the leaf off and crack it. I can roll it, but I can never get the leaf to go back on right.
i've been smokin for almost a year and still havent smoked a blunt yet no 1 sells the blunt wraps around here i dont even really smoke joints only when ppl have em i think pipes r way better so thats all i use i never have rolled anything never tried
Blunts are pretty much the only things I smoke, been having atleast one a day for the last year or so. Dutches are the easiest to roll with, once you start rolling these perfectly switch to phillies or w/e your comfortable with smoking. Once your rolling skill reaches professional level you can try and start rolling backwoods. Always make sure the weed is level throughout the whole blunt.
Tobacco is bad for ya, think about it first. If you choose to do it then all I can give you on tips is to break the meds down good, grind it if you have one. Just imagine the meds rolling up inside as it should, feel the evenness. when you get real good you will know how tight to roll it, but first get a hang of rolling from the top down over the bottom and twist. that is how I use to do it. I rarely ever crave a cig anymore since I stopped smoking blunts. Oh yea, if you are smoking out of a swisher sweet it is a bit easier than a titan, but way more paper involved, it is easier to just show you, but I don't have a webcam or a way yo. But like I was trying to say, lick the top flap of the blunt after you get your twist going and then lick and with fingers, not lips, unless you got wet ass lips which I never have, just rub it down like wallpaper on a wall. Hope any of that helped. I was thinking of trying a back woods wrap one time, you can roll a phat ass 1/8th of meds in there.
^ dude, don't preach about tobacco when you're smoking pot. combusting plant matter is by no means healthy.
I rolled my first blunt while i was zoomin on mushrooms the other night. Turned out pretty well, except for near the end there wasn't enough weed and we were basically huffin on the blunt leaf. Idk if you are using one of the store bought blunt wraps or actually turning a cigar into a blunet, but I used one of the store bought ones and it was just like rolling a bigass joint.
practice makes perfect. you have to get a feel for it yourself too. i find wraps easiest to twist and ive been smoking way too many for the past couple weeks lol. you cant go wrong with a white owl or swisher tho. as for tips like i said gotta get a feel for it yourself. you can use vids on youtube as a guide but ultimitley you gotta come up with your personal style. sure you might mess up a bunch of times, but sooner or later youll be rollin those tight cannons and will be lovin it.
sounds awesome vapemaster, rollin a blunt on shrooms. and when you got no weed at the end, shit you could just tear it off. or pack in some weed. im gonna be gettin some shrooms shortly ill probably do the same as you and roll a fat blunt.
dont lick the paper to wet or it wont stick , and not to tight or you may not get a good hit off of it. practice and squeeze the blunt shell before you split it open to see if it is stale or fresh if its stale your chances of success decrease alot.
a technique for if you finish rolling your blunt and it's kind of falling apart because you put too much saliva on it, is to roast it. take a lighter in one hand, blunt in the other, run the lighter really quickly under the blunt. roll the blunt around so it heats the entire thing. it will dry up the blunt and makes it stick a little better.
