Write an essay about your seizures. Make them feel sorry for you. I found out that's a good way to get your way in college, play the pity card. ;)

^^^Actually, seizures would probably get you axed out of riddle because its a pilot's program. LOL

Anyway, most colleges are looking for a well rounded individual. Unless your grades are the top 1%, they won't guarantee you a spot anywhere. Plenty of 4.0 GPA's get rejected from even mid level schools.

I had a friend go to Embry, and it seems that what they like to hear most is how enthused you are about aviation(or the related fields), what organizations you belong to that will help with your major, and how much mechanical/flight experiece you have.

Which campus? Prescott is a sausage fest.

That depends on the school you are applying to. If it's a tech school or community college, the application process is pretty much a general process, and it's mostly about submitting the correct documents, ie high school transcript. Each university requires different things. Good things to have are a decent transcript to submit, a couple letters of recommendation from reputable people, and decent ACT/SAT scores.

I'm okay with the prescott campus being a sausage fest, as, you don't go to engineering school to meet chicks

if you do, you're insane, or a moron.

I also have no interest in the flight programs because I can't get a pilots license anyway, I wanna spent all my time chillin' in the rapid prototyping lab.

essay is most important. write something personal, concise, gripping.

rock the SAT, i found it to be easy..

also, i think an crucial part is appearing to be well-rounded, so make sure you include stuff where you've had leadership positions, sports, and community service.

i think you'll be fine, what are your grades like? have you done any college work at all? taken the SAT/ACT?

my grades are passable, I have done some college work, and I haven't taken SAT or ACT, but I've been in the 99th on every standardized test I've ever done, so, meh,

I spent probably two years spending most of my free time volunteering at a local school, have taken leadership positions in theater programs, and I am a decent fencer.

of course, I am a TERRIBLE student, fantastic learner, bad student.

    I can relate to that.

I always had issues going to school, doing homework and showing up to class for a presentation an be all "I know I was supposed to do x, but I thought it would be cool to do this instead". Also I dont work well with others, blah I dont know, it varies a lot. I have been a good student, but it's very inconsistent. I do love taking tests.

Sounds like you know what you want, which is cool.

I hate to say it, but applications for many undergrad programs are due in Nov/Dec. I'd get working on it if you aren't too late already for this coming year.

If this is the Prescott College that I know of, I'm pretty sure they let anybody in. My old hs friend got in, and she was a horrible student, didn't know how to write an essay, basically flunked the ACT, and defintely never did any volunteer work. Haha you should have NO problemo.
