i will be attending, im 19 and think it will be one hell of an soul opening experience. maybe ill see ya there
Can't go this year *thumbs down* Maybe once Me or my hippy-in-partner get a means of transport in a year or 2.
ill be glad to see all you there. The lions on the loose. Tell all youre friends. Make sure everyone you know is aware of this gathering. I LOVE YOU ALLLL!!!!!
I went alone. It was in Michigan, and my friend Liz went with me on the train (she was 15), but she stayed with my friend in Wisconsin while I went. So I went to the gathering alone even if I traveled with a partner. I did however have someone there I knew well who had been before that I met up with once I was there. It was wonderful, and I had no major issues. There was a creepy man who was sketchy as could be and straight up asked to sleep with me in the grass. I simply said no and left, though I did tell the people at info because he creeped me out pretty bad. While that sounds like a huge deal, it wasn't overall. It was definitely leveled out by the other experiences I have. My advice is just to know how to take care of yourself, and remember that is a place where you want to trust everyone; it does not mean that you can. I helped build some cob solar showers, I met wonderful people, I had life changing experiences, and I wouldn't change it. I would have changed things about how I got there (police were called on me, I was reported as missing by my father), but I wouldn't change the experience. Have fun. Oh, if you help out, it will be returned to you too.
haha thats funny and freaky at the same time how many days did u stay what kind of things did u do there
I spent around two weeks there, but the last week or so there wasn't a lot of people left. It was clean up. I oddly enough spent a lot of time alone. It was sort of an act of reflection for me. So your mileage may vary there, but I certainly enjoyed my solitude in a sea of people. I had lots of fun though, with people. I enjoyed the drum circles, and the food (oh the food!!). Granola Funk was awesome (but maybe that was West Virginia....), hmm.. I ate mushrooms (hey, you asked), I met some really amazing people and I learned quite a bit about life.
moi! me and a few friends are planning on attending and my sister. look for the kids with the dreads. haha
