Russian reanimation experiment

In this video Soviet scientists show they are able to keep a dog alive without a body for hours.

I believe the following video* is a testament to the possibilities of a misunderstood and tragic ideology.

that is nothing new. back in the 1980's, some biologest here in the u.s.a. regestered with the patened office, a process for keeping a severd head alive.
that guy did the same experment with a dogs head too, with the same results.

 

Obviously it's nothing new, It's a video from the early 60's.

What I think is interesting is that the Soviets had the technology 20+ years before the U.S filed its patent.

It's to bad most of the classified documents were destroyed during the fall of the Union, there's no telling what the Ruskies were up to or how far there scientist were willing to go in the name of socialism.

Kinda makes you wonder....

I wonder if some unlucky gulag prisoner was ever forced to under go this hideous experiment, given the Soviet blanket on all government actions we may never know.
