for an hour and not get bored. I have also found myself enjoying the music they play during "your local forecast"
5. I have a small TV next to the computer. The Weather Channel is almost always on, with the sound turned down. And that Sharon Resultan on weeknights is pretty good eyecandy. x
6 I rarely watch it during the summer months but during the winter months I’m glued to the set for important winter weather updates. With over 100 inches of snow last winter along the New Hampshire seacoast I nearly wore out my favorite recliner Hotwater
I so remember the april fools' day blizzard of 97' in which we received 25 inches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BWN9mWTAQ4 Hotwater
In some ways that storm was always a disappointment for me because of the enormous buildup. I was living in Andover back then and I remember Bruce Schwegler on WBZ predicting 20-30 inches of snow, and we only got 19 inches before briefly ending as rain on the plus side; we did get snow squalls the next day which dropped an additional 4 inches, and experienced the meteorological phenomenon known as ground blizzards Hotwater
Not sure what your getting up your way hotwater, but another foot of snow rolling into Boston this weekend. My shovel (and myself) have been getting quite the workout this winter! I love it like I love Stephanie Abrams!
... SNOW MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND MAINE... .LOW PRESSURE MOVING OUT OF THE OHIO VALLEY THIS EVENING WILL TRACK NORTHEAST AND BE NEAR CAPE COD BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. THIS WILL BRING SNOW TO MUCH OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND WESTERN MAINE OVERNIGHT BEFORE ENDING SUNDAY AFTERNOON. HEAVIEST SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE ACROSS SOUTHERNMOST NEW HAMPSHIRE AND EXTREME SOUTHERN MAINE. BECAUSE OF THE COLD TEMPERATURES THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT AND FLUFFY WITH THE POTENTIAL OF 6 OR MORE INCHES IN THE WATCH AREA. LESS IN THE WAY OF ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED IN NORTHERN MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE WHICH WILL BE ON THE NORTHERN EDGE OF THE STORM. LOOK FOR TRAVEL TO QUICKLY BECOME HAZARDOUS LATE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT... ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE :cheers2: Hotwater
I also love the weather channel. To me it's the only REAL channel thats not pumping you full of bullshit all the time and they play more music than MTV and VH1 combined!
Wow! Me too! They must have a thing for Pink Floyd. I've never heard Terminal Frost, but I've heard them play Shine on You Crazy Diamond Pt. 1
