I believe the reason the website was shutdown was because in these so called "porn films" he made he was actually raping the girls that were in these movies. I heard a rumor that none of the girls in his movies gave consent or something along those lines

They were actress's playing parts in a movie, They weren't really being raped. And I wouldn't doubt if any of the actress's in these movies testified against Max for a little extra green by saying it wasn't consented. This is a travesty.
I have no proof but I believe some organization had to have pushed for him to be jailed. Why else would he have gone to court? Also, the jury got $$ and watched 8.5 hours of his material. It's such a WEIRD case...

I think its really wrong to charge a guy and convict him, just because the porn is not within your moral standards. If it is done between to consenting adults, then I don't see any problem here at all.
