i wanna see kids stop with this adderrall/OC use

they are both really addictive and both of them have physically fucked me up, in their own way. amph left me with parkinson's type symptoms. and OC's led me to slamming smack, which i managed to say goodabye to cold turkey but i lost my only friend to it and ive seen him go from a good person to a robber, theif, liar, and untrustworthy person.

I used adderall for my A.D.D. and I am just fine. I didn't turn into a druggie or a criminal or anything like that. Those drugs shouldn't be abused anyway.

 

thats what i meant, STOP ABUSING. i use my adderrall still, but i am careful with my dose and only take it for school.
using them too much may be unhealthy, it was for me. But ABUSING them is a doorway too addiction.

 

Isn't it funny that a person with the name "crackforkids" is trying to tell the aforementioned kids not to take pills? it was funny to me, maybe i just have a strange sense of humour

Na, it sucks, my school is a bunch of pill-popping kids. Really, no other fun drugs. Some kid asked me if I wanted Adderall. I was like "I take it..." and he asked if I could give him some...but wasn't he just offering me some?

 

Im gonna have to agree on this one, I usually don't do things unless they grew from the earth, though Ive robo-tripped a few times, Aderal really isn't to great of stuff to be messen with, or those motion sickness pills long term use of them caused one of my buddies to have interior bleeding in his brain.

the problem with pills is that kids dont think there dangerous because they are legal. they just figure hey if some doctors giving this shit out it cant be that bad. I know alot of people that will pop any pill theyre givin if someone gives it 2 them. Its like nothin 2 eat some oxy,adderal,valiums, and shit like that. but most of them are like no id never touch coke, acid, or smack, but in truth half of the shit they take is just as addicting. then u do get addicted 2 oxy and end up moving on 2 smack anyways just like crack4kids said...ive seen it happen alot an ive been on the bad end of it 2. pretty much any drug u abuse 2 often is gonna mess up in the long run. shit pot will do it 2, even thou u pot heads dont want 2 believe. theres a diffrence, theres fairly safe recreational use an then theres drug abuse.

 

Yeah pot can become mentaly addicting rather then physicaly. Meaning if you smoke enough (like you've had to have smoked a lot though) you can think you need pot but you really don't.

Pills aren't fucking cool. I only take 'em because I have too...If I had a choice I'd find some other kind of non-pill ADHD meds.

 

I have been on Adderall twice daily for 10 years. I love it. If Adderall caused you to develop tics, the doctor should really take you off of it. They will only get worse...

I agree that they shouldn't be abused. At the very least, kids should use caution, which they don't seem to usually do...

I would prefer to take a pill as opposed to using drugs "from the Earth." I know what is in a pharmaceutical, and I can find empirical data on the safety, efficacy, and dosage information. Such data is not provide from mother nature...

 

Really? You know what's in a pil? I highly doubt that...only if you're a manufactor of the pill will you really know what gets put in there. Let's face it, it's kinda like saying "I know what Kool puts in ciggerates." You have no clue.

And why yes you can learn what's in plants. That's how we know some chemicals interact with the body and such. like take, oh pot. We know what's in pot. There is a document somewhere in some lab where a doctor has listed everything he/she found in the cannbis plant.

As for the plants we know nothing about...why would doctors tell you take them then?

 

Ummm, no. There is a prescribing information sheet attached to every single prescription drug stock bottle, it tells you what it is the pills. If you don't have access to pharmacy stock, like I do, you can simply ask a pharmacist for a PI sheet on a drug, or look it up online. Drugs are regulated by the FDA. There has to be accounting of the ingredients. Cigarettes, however, are not regulated. Even otc drugs have a drug facts label, which lists all the ingredients.

We are aware of some active chemicals in plants. Unless you grow your own, however, you do not know what is in the product you receive. There is absolutely no regulation or accountablility. Production is solely profit driven. There will never be large scale studies of plants as there are with pharmaceuticals, because anyone could grow the plants, making the studies a huge cost burden with no potential for profit.

As for your last question, I have had many doctors prescribe drugs to me, I have never had one recommend a plant...

 

ok. my name is MY sense of humor, i never snort coke or smoke crack, i dont like uppers. i have two problems with adderrall
1: misdiagnosis in younger children/too high doses
2: fuckerz ABUSING them.

i have one big problem with OC's
1: they are addictive and led me into more serious drugs, if anything, opiates are a gateway drug!

 

thats the dumbest thing i think i have ever heard, sounds about right for a 15 yr old who thinks he knows it all and is a healthy herbalist because he smokes pot, well if a doctor said whats in cannabis then why couldn't they just as easily know whats in a pill that they made, god your ignorance astounds me hahaha. jesus please please at least know something of what you talk about before you post. and as for CrackForKids' remark, i agree i was hooked on addy for a while its a terrible nasty drug, OC is the devil but i sold my sould to the devil, i love the stuff, but yes they are both drugs that can lead to serious problems but i don't think its your position to tell someone not to do them, thats their descicion but you do have the right to your opinion, it varies with person to person, i have been using opiates, for about 4 years, on a regular basis, as regular as possible i guess, but mostly OC and Morphine as of late, i;'ve had the chance to slam heroin many times but i never have, i consider myself a responsible drug user, i also have had the liberty of standing on the side line and watch heroin nearly totally destroy a close friend. thank god he kicked it.

I was addicted and when i came to the realizeation, i quit, before it started to fuck with my life. and jesus im typing a comment to a dumb ass 15 yr old, who is a definite know it all, spelling isn't my biggest priority.
