    Hey everyone,

Strange question I think. A friend of mine got a shamwow for christmas. I had never heard of it and googled it. In the little infomercial thing he puts the shamwow on wet carpet and the liquid gets sucked up into it.
My main issue with my dreads is that it takes them so long to dry and when I do wash them I pretty much have to stay home all day or have a wet back all day and I mean WET!
I'm thinking if this thing can pull up liquid from carpet it could dry dreads fast possibly? I'm tempted to buy one but I was wondering if anyone else had come up with this thought and tried it out?

It works decently but like any towel it ages and has to be thrown out after a couple of washes.
If your willing to dish out the 20 bucks for it then go for it. But regular towels are cheaper.

I am sure it would work great. There are a few threads on here talking about it. You can buy one at Wal-Mart for 1/2 price that works just as well ;)

come the fuck on. it even has the word "sham" in the name.

you can even tell on the ad that they replace that wet carpet with a dryer one before he uses the towel on it.

    it's a ripoff.

A microfiber towel would probably be much better for hair.
