    It can be hard to take Elvis seriously sometimes, but i like his early work. Since he didnt record in the 20s or 30s, but it is the early-mid 50s stuff i like, and very close to blues.

    Actually, both the Beatles and Elvis admired each other, and not only did elvis welcome the lads with a telegram, there is a tasty doodle of elvis among Johns artworks!

    not to mention that Elvis guitar player, Scottie Moore, is one of the better session guitarists ever.

    I love Elvis. There are so many songs that only he can sing in his own inimitable way. But he's not perfect :). I can't stand his version of Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

    Songs of his I love? Well top of the list has got to be In My Way. 1m32s of sheer perfection. Elvis backed by a solo guiter. Less is definitely more. After that I really can't decide which song is second. There are so many songs that I love!!!

    Elvis' singing SUCKS!! lol i am sure that i'm one-in-a-million with that view, but, personaly, i hate his singning. blah. i'd rather listen to ANYONE or ANYTHING sing but Elvis Presley
