Confused teenager needs help with his love life...

Okay, I'm fifteen and I've never had a girlfriend. All of the girls in my school want to go for the stupid assholes who can bench press 250 but can't spell "bench". I don't understand, why are no girls interested in me? I have to admit, I used to be shy..But now I have some friends and a social life. Is it just a high school thing that girls don't like intelligent, caring guys, or will this trend last throughout my life?

 

Dude its highschool... Life gets better I promise... Just enjoy where your at and don't worry so much about relationships... YOUR ONLY 15 dude and your not going to find the love of your life right now dude. But keep your head up... those ass hole dudes will always be part of life... but us girls can see through them as we age loll

 

Here's what you do. While the jocks are benching 250, you just keep hitting the books and getting good grades. It won't pay off until many years down the road, but it will be worth it. You will become well educated and find a great, high paying job. Most of the jocks will end up working construction or some other dirty, labor intensive job and drink excessively. Now you will be the sought after one from the pretty girls. Most girls like strong, cocky, popular guys when they are younger. Then they grow out of that and start thinking more deeply about the important issues like starting a family. That's when most of them start looking for smart, well educated,financially secure men to settle down with. There's only so many such guys to go around and it becomes a numbers game in your favor.

 

first of all, stop studying what other people think of you. just grow them locks and flow. you do you and make music, hear the cosmic orchestra.

second, theres probably like a few chicks at least in your small ass school who have crushes on you that you've got to act on. you've gotta make the first moves though. its confidence that muscles attempt to silhouette, but real confidence is evident in your personality. if someone starts fucking with your head, go back to the first thing i said....

 

While the pretty boys are, well... pretty - I never much liked guys who paid more attention to their bodies than mine. It seems a truism in HS that chicks only go for the popular guys b/c everything in HS is about status. Have fun. Make friends. Girls will find ways to let you know they like you, I promise. But until then, don't be afraid of rejection. It's not the end of the world. You're unlikely to meet your soul mate anytime soon. And statistically very few 'HS sweethearts' stay together anymore. So, sew some oats and enjoy it while you can.

I'm like up there now - but high school was the pits for chicks. When I got to be 20, 21 etc. either I changed or the chicks did. Hang in there. Use your five finger friend if you need to. Love & Peace
