Perhaps, it wouldn't have happenned had he been in charge, but I watched him and I think he worked the situation into the state where, nothing else was possible.

 

Below find 2 world maps showing the concentration of Muslim populations and the locations of the worlds major conflicts.

Most of these wars are located in areas dominated by a Muslim Majority. In mnay of these theatres of war, more deaths have occurred than within the Israeli conflict. It strikes me as odd that the focus of the entire Muslim world is on the plight of the Palestinians. Where is the outrage over deaths in Somalia?

The Muslim world has allowed generations of Palestinians to suffer within their own borders. In some nations they keep them in refugee camps and never treat them as citizens. It is through the lack of real economic support that Muslim nations have kept the Palestinians in their present state.

The worlds Muslim population is somewhere around 1.5-1.7 Billion. The worlds Jewish population is somwhat less than 1% of that (14-15 Million). I find it amazing that some Muslims can expend so much hatred on such a tiny group of people when within their own ranks people have been killed at an exponentially higher rate.

The Zionist conspiracy theories only serve as a means to divert the worlds attention from problems within their own nations.

Modern Israel was founded on the racist principles of the movement that sprouted out of this publication. The "zionists" are followers of this philosophy.

It has inflamed orthodox Jews to the point of madness with their philosophy of hatred. Oddly enough, they are also a leading threat to the secular Jews that control the inner sanctum of zionism.

Secular Jews. Zionist Jews. Zionist Christians. And an angry Arab population that has felt the lash from them for far too long.

Israel can just as easily be torn apart from internal stresses as it can from an attack from the outside. We need to encourage the first. (It's being used in Iran, and what's good for Iran has to be good enough for Israel too), and avoid the latter if possible.

What changed is that the U.S. now has a colonial outpost populated by people who are not from the region and surrounded by natives who have been pushed off their land. That was not the case prior to 1948.

Right. Israel is a special case in post-WWII history since it is the only expanding, half-legal, basically European state in non-European territory to exist post-1945.

But Jewish exceptionalism rationalizes everything (even an appeal to biblical folklore). Jews are supposedly more persecuted and hated than say, Africans- right?

 

Why is the US is asking India to remain calm with their dealings with Pakistan? More than four people were killed there. But what Israel is doing is jusitified??

This thread is so full of crap that it's difficult to know where to begin....


1. The Jews wanted a Jewish state in Israel not because of racist ideology but because they were persecuted all over the world. Most of them would have rather gone to the US but that option was not available

2. Very few Israelis believe in Zionism and are interested in 'expending the Zionist state' and other such crap mentioned in this thread. For most Israelis the battle against Hamas is all about security. Critising Israel for invading Gaza is valid criticism but it has very little to do with Zionism, European Imperialism or the U.S. As long as people insist on fitting every human conflict into some leftists category ,they will never understand what is going on. We are talking about real people here that are dying, not "victims of imperialism"; and other slogans.

3. Zionism is not racist, it believes that having a home for Jews is the only solution for the Jewish problem. The Palestinians are actually demanding the exact same thing (rightfully so). Believing in a Nation-state could be wrong but its not equivalent to racism . That is not to say that there aren't people who are both racist and Zionists .

4. Zionism is secular and that is the main source of conflict it had with Orthodox Judaism. These days there is a new type of people who are both Orthodox and Zionist (the "settlers" ) ,these people have very little to do with original Zionism (which is ,again, secular) and with true Judaism (in which one cannot view land as 'holy'). They are ,however, very racist, but they do not represent Israel. If anything they are hated in Israel.

5. Jews and Arabs did NOT live in peace before the state of Israel was born. (though the situation was better than in Europe)
