ani is a hoot of excitement..in the morning i love playing "32 flavors" it puts that needed pizazz in my day..i loves her.
yea she seems pretty amazing...i haven't really listened to her that much, but the little bit that i have heard is really good.
Old thread, I know - but just wanted to say I LOVE Ani. My favourite songs at the moment are Face Up And Sing, Names and Dates and Times, and Anticipate.
Ani is one of my favorites. Totally inspires me as a musician and as a woman. And she is a total beauty!
Really strong performer; talented musician and inventive guitar player; her content gets a little old at times, but that's just because she's been doing the sort of "yay feminism" stuff for nigh-on twenty years now. I think her political stuff is really strong - "To The Teeth" is easily my favorite of her songs.
To The Teeth is an amazing song - definately one of her best. I love I'm No Heroine, from Living in Clip - just for that growl: "...whenever there's a stampede." Fantastic.
hell yeah. i looove ani she's absolutely incredible ! i like im no heroine as well.. but theres always gonna be a soft spot in my heart for both hands because i choreographed a dance to it for a show at my studio and its suuuch a great song
