Currently reading Le Morte d'Arthur - Sir Thomas Malory Desolation Road - Ian McDonald Chemistry - R. Chang and a couple more Everybody should try to read Joyce's "Finnegans Wake".
Ya dewd. That's where I got the 7 planes out from God's thought into face value Nature. :cheers2: It details the New Testament too
Right now I am reading "Twilight." My daughter got it for Christmas so she gave it to me to read since she finished. It's a quick easy read, which is what I need right now with this freaking cold I have. I'm also reading "Second Ring of Power" by Carlos Casteneda but I have misplaced it somewhere in the house. Besides, it is too heady for me right now.
That's cool, I like in this book when he expounds the Bible. ....except when he broke down the Garden of Eden story, that was a bit much. The whole book like that?
The whole book is a mind funk and a half lol. I still dont get some of it. But it's where all of Yogananda's thoughts as to how reality is composed in essence stem from.
A few nights ago I read through the chapter where he assembles a new body out of lifetrons and appears in Yogananda's hotel room to breakdown the physical, astral, and causal realms. I was like, wtf, this shit is awesome. I couldn't put it down.
Yea that part is awesome. It's one of those books that seems impossible to believe, but at the same time, it's so honest that I've never doubted a word he said.
haha yeah, I was in the chat room last night and was telling another member about it, and someone said they knew of a friend that read it and they said it was way too hard to believe. I said something about with the way Yogananda speaks with such a vulnerable and unassuming heart, it's impossible to doubt his validity or his love. I was immediately accused of homosexuality and was told that nothing I said from that point would ever be taken seriously. You gotta love people and their weird needs huh?
She has New Moon as well. I might get into it. Feels funny reading my 12 year olds books...but they are mindless I like that and the story is intriguing. I like how much passion is there between them......though its very primal Then again, I did read all the Harry Potter's.
Matt? lol my buddy Matt tried to get me to read it, but I forgot it at his place and haven't been back... he said it's very hard to read.
