I can't do this until I know who to knit with two colours, and I can't seem to figure out how to do this. I can't find directions on the internet. Is some sort of carriage necessary? I'm not sure I could do the entire thing properly, anyway. I'm way too cheap to buy a book, so if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated!

I know how to knit but I am not sure what you are asking. What is Illusion Knitting?

Yeah.. I've already seen that site. It's nice, but I still can't figure out how to knit with two colours. It's probably ridiculously easy.

what do you mean knit with two colours? Like alternate between for example black and white so it has stripes? Or two colours together so it's all speckled. If you want the speckled effect, just use both colours at once and when making the slipknot, tie the black and white together. If you want to make it striped, just decide where you want colour A to end and cut it, then tie on colour B and continue knitting.
