I believe that some people are cosmically connected, and no matter where they may be situated on this earth, that they are meant to find each other. Not necessarily in terms of only being romantically involved either. Best friends,soul mates, lovers. Some people out there are just MEANT to be together. I'm anxious to meet my other half. To be with him and to share my life with him. It will happen one day though, just not soon enough. Do you have an experience of being cosmically bound with someone?
I once moved from new york to florida...and this girl I hated, from new york, showed up at my new school in Florida about a month after I had started going there. That's as close as I have come...I am glad that somone decided that we didn't have to be cosmically bond....I'm hoping my true one will be cute.
hmm... this makes me think of falling in love over the internet for some reason... hehe... *sigh* j/k I don't know if I believe in soul-mates.... I think it can lead to lots of unhappiness if for some reason you don't think the person you're with(married to) isn't yours. It keeps ppl from being happy with what they've got, and less likely to work on problems... since they tend to expect perfection from their "soul-mate"... my opinion anyway.
I believe that I was cosmically bound to meet every person I've met. Otherwise I wouldn't have met them.
Good point riptide. I definitely think i'm cosmically bound to my cousin- I'm really attracted to him, not physically or sexually, but.. just bound and attracted to him
I don't believe in soul mates. I think that is setting yourself up for failure and if somethings not perfect than you ditch it instead of working hard at it because you still think you have a soul mate out there. I think there are people who are put on this earth to help other people though and sometimes the ones percieved as the helpees are the ones who actually help the most.. I know the reason I ended up in my job is so I could toughen up a bit and work harder at everything I do and to open my eyes that I have a really good life and am blessed with an able mind and normal development-something that I took for granted before.
