WeeDMaN, opiates make you sick because they tell your brain to reject it as a toxic

i bought on 80mg oxycodone the other day. i've down opiates for a longass time and i parachuted half....didnt feel it for a long time. it kicked in, was moderately fucked up for awhile. i woke up a lot of times thru the night and felt fine each time....but the final time i woke up on christmas morning i had the worst headache i have had in a long time. and i ffelt sick as fuck. never happened before i dont know what happened to me.
felt a little better an hour later. then snorted the rest of that shit and i was healed.

    Happy New Year all:

    Question:
Once you've started getting a tolerance for opiates, can you ever go back?

I have been taking dihydrocodeine for moderate pain for about a month, and the euphoria is completely gone now. I no longer get that "warm blanket" feeling unless I double my dose. This is not only depressing, but twice as expensive.

If I stop for awhile, will the tolerance go back down, or does it stick with you? If your tolerance does in fact go back down, how long would you have to stop to make that happen?

    Thanks,

    RL
