Israel is a country that builds racial colonies into Palestine, just like the White South Africa did in South Africa. They have racially segregated cites and towns in Palestine which are for Jews only and were built by force and are protected by a standing army. The entire world is against this other than America. And America's Military Industrial Complex makes far too much money off of the conflicts to ever change its mind.

Furthermore even though "some Arabs" live in Israel, they can't even go to High school with Jews. They are separated at the age of 14 into separate schools by race. Secondly Israel has mandatory military service and refusing to do this equates to secondary rights as citizens. You earn special rights by joining or having joined the military. Many Arab Israelis won't join the military as they are 99% certain they will just be used to shoot at other Arabs. Thus the Jews in Israel effectively get a proxy pecking order of citizenry with the Arabs as an under class with less rights.

Why are they fighting? Because Israel maintains a military occupation, the same as America does in Iraq. The Palestinians who choose to go the route of Gorilla war do so because Israel's army has forced 6 million of them to live in refugee camps, and uses the remainder for virtual slave labor (two dollars a week on average) and has demolished thousands of homes and killed tens of thousands of people. THAT is why Palestinians hate them, not some irrational brainwashing from Islam.

Obviously militant forms of the religion are going to arise and become popular when their country is under occupation and people live in a Hell on Earth. They can't even drive on the same roads as the Jews. They have color coded license plates. And yet Zionist Settlements like Hebron can be composed of the most fanatic of Settlers who can vandalize, steal, and destroy property at will with no threat of the law because they are protected by Israeli solders who sit in towers or in the apartheid wall and protect them.

That's the other thing. The wall. The wall is not for defense. For one it isn't even on the border. the wall cuts into Palestine and wraps around Israel's internationally illegal Settlements AKA racial colonies. That is what it is protecting, Israeli theft.

Suicide bombing (which haven't happened since 2005) occur because of occupation not Islam. It is the same reason they happen in Vietnam (which isn't even Muslim) or in Japan, or Lebanon etc. It's the occupation stupid.

How would America and Americans react if we were under a foreign military occupation. Them saying it was the will of their god to do it would hardly find an accepting ear. Oh "god" told you to kill my children and demolish my house, oh well in that case it's oK.... Not going to happen.

Israel needs to get out of Palestine. Remove all the settlements and the wall, lift all blockades, and try peace and trade. Just imagine how well would relations be with Canada if the US started destroying cities, building colonies, and blockading ports? Not very good. How much do you think they would trade with us? Probably nothing. There would be a war obviously. And even after losing (Sorry Canada but you wold lose) do you think the Canadian people would ever stop fighting on their own? Do you think they would ever stop attacks on America so long as the US held an occupation? No way. And would have nothing to do with religion. And how could America blame THEM for the attacks if the US had the military occupation? Or imagine the US trying to claim it was Defense? And Canada was trying to push the US into the Sea.

But that is what is going on with Israel and Palestine. A far larger military power is just brutalizing its neighbors, colonizing them 17th century style, and swiping their vital natural resources like water.

What brought about the rockets? Months of blockade and starvation. As well as weekly "incursions" into Gaza by the Israeli army to "kill militants" but often got civilians. How can the news ignore the blockade and just talk about rockets? Because this is America.
The same nation that invaded Iraq based on complete bullshit most of which originated form Israel too.

Rat, you say this person "sums it up" pretty well. Yet there are numerous blatant errors in there, I mean quite obvious ones that anybody with a moderate understanding of the history of the region would spot right away.

I'm wondering if I should bother pointing them out, would you even care? You quite enjoy lecturing people about how only you know the truth and how you are so well researched and smart etc etc, and you get quite angry when anyone point out that your cut and past jobbies like this are full of total bullshit.

So I'm just asking, do you actually care that you are posting crap? Will you just walk away and paste something else or will you actually stand behind this one for a change? I just don't want to waste my time.

 

Instead of whining, attacking me and the source like you always do, why don't you tell us what you believe, or link to one of the many mainstream media sources that you receive 99.9% of your information from so we can hear the official, authorized version of events.

1) There are no racial colonies.
2) Israeli Arabs choose to segregate themselves from Israeli society, not the other way around. They are allowed to skip military service but are also welcomed to serve in the military if they so wish. They are given tax-free land and allowed to be autonomous. One can easily argue that they have it better off than your average Israeli.
3)"Gorilla war"? Nigguh what?
4) The Israeli army did not force Palestinians into refugee camps. Wars that were declared on Israel by its Arab neighbors forced the outing of the Palestinian people by the Israelis, and then those countries refused to accept the Palestinian refugees, whom they promised to take in, therefore leaving them stranded in Israel.
5) No one likes the fanatic Jewish settlers and Israel is doing everything possible to move them away. A WHOLE lot of them have been moved away by force. The Israeli Human Rights Watch makes sure that any settler that violates a law faces justice in the courts.
6) The Wall has practically stopped suicide bombings. What else should I say?
7) Israel is already practically out of "Palestine". It has tried peace and trade for years, but the Hamas keeps on violating cease fires and bombing Israel.
8) The Palestinians are not denied any water.
9) Most of the killed are militants. Hell, even most of the killed in this weekend's attacks are militants.
10) The spelling in this article sucks and all the facts are either falsified or completely skewed. Whoever wrote this is a complete fucking idiot.

I'm not attacking you or the source. Quite the opposite, I'm saying there are huge, glaring factual errors in this article. In fact, ironically, you refused to even discuss the article and sneered at the sources you think I would use, hypothetically. One of your more hypocritical responses, I'd say.

Well, you'll have to stay away from a couple of towns, but you won't miss out on much... an Intifada might start though, and it's never fun to be a tourist while the ungrateful Arabs burn tires on the streets.

 

I'd go with a male, so don't worry. Then I can fly out to Kenya from Israel thankfully. If I go to Kenya, which I have always wanted to do, I'm going to Israel also. *dreams and schemes*

PM me cool places to travel in Israel when you've got the time.

 

Kenya is a prime travel spot for Israelis, you could probably find some really really good deals on flights and stuff from Israel.

Israel is a very small country, I can list off places to visit, but you could just go to any tourist site and they'll tell you the same thing.

I'd suggest spending more time in Eilat, the Negev, the Dead Sea, and the Galil than anything.

Everyone is kosher, and practically everything is kosher, but you can find some non-kosher food.

Don't expect bacon on your burgers.

As I've said, all the cultural elements are there, the people are just too smart to take the religious aspect seriously.

It seems you haven't changed much Rat. You won't back up what you say, and you don't think it matters whether the articles you post are true or not. Why is that?

 

I had such a great time there - like Rubin says, the usual places are the ones to see. But I was really surprised by Tel Aviv, its such a cool, hip, cosmopolitan city with great beaches. You can get all kinds of international cuisine, and its such a cafe society with loads of places to just relax and hang out. The hotels are a bit crap, that was the only downside.

I was there during the last round of fighting in Lebanon. It may not be the safest time to visit but you have to put things in perspective - the odds of something happening to you are quite small, even during the bad times. And Kenya would have the same problems - the US embassy was bombed in 1998 and in 2002 a resort and an airline catering to Israelis were targeted with bombs and missiles.

But i'd say forget all that and just go.

By what authority do you make that claim? Do you have a source for that position. Or is it that if they were killed by the Israeli air attacks they must have been guilty because of their proximity?
