The Hallucinogenic Effect of Weed

Recently, I have been experiencing the hallucinogenic effect of weed rather frequently.
Its extremely weird. Its like tripping, very much so. Everything becomes inflated looking, if you understand what i mean. Like, more "realistic" in a sense, and yet more cartoonish in another.
I also have been experiencing an "out of body" third person perspective of my life and everything in it. I would believe this is what it means to "lose your ego". I felt like I was no longer myself, like my spiritual body had been extracted from my physical body. i would tell my body to do something, and it would do it, for instance, lay down. I would lay down, but it were not as if I was "laying down" i just did it. I began to see things as one should not see them. At times the things I saw were horrific. I was in a disphoria. Everything in my life was going horribly.
I had my hand over my mouth most of the "trip" and was giggling constantly. There were some visual distortions other than the "air head" effect, but they were generally just the feeling that everything was moving a little.
I once layed down to rest my eyes because i was becoming a little tired of the feelings, but as soon as i did, I jumped right back up after closing my eyes. Afraid that if I continued to close my eyes, I would die. I felt as though i was "on the other side" like this was my time to have a seizure and die or something. My eyes felt really jittery and i was REALLY high, so this scared me a little.
Mind you I've felt this effect multiple times, at least 4. The first time I felt it I thought we got laced. Everything "looked like a postcard" was how I described it before i had begun to research and explore the world of psychedelics.

I felt a little sick aswell.

Basically I posted the thread because I wanted to ask you all if you have had any personal experiences with the hallucinogenic effect of marijuana. Have your feelings been similar to mine?

 

yea man. i always feel like im in a movie. occasionally a cartoon but im always thinking like. mafia kinda movie. like the god father

 

Not to be negative, but that movie feeling is a common symptom of schizophrenia. I used to have it all the time..like someone was watching me. Then I stopped smoking pot so much and now it's gone.

 

It's just dissociation dude. It's also a symptom of smoking weed.

 

Yeah just slow down on smoking. Let your body catch back up with itself.

 

yep, weed is great I don't care what they say and it does have different kinds of effects on different people just enjoy all the cool ones while they still last.

 

yeah i mostly just feel very confused, but when i first started smoking pot i felt like you did.... i dont smoke it anymore, im not able to do all i want in a day and i like to feel motivated

I am hyper weed makes me normal. I focus better and am able to complete tasks as long as they are one at a time. I do have some visuals especially at nite lights get pointy and some halos but mostly i wish I could get the effect without the smoke lungs are hurtin from 35 yrs of smokin. Some people as they age have new side effects from weed such as yours some get paranoid or black out. Then I would say if the effects are not pleasant then take a break or quit.

 

I get this to occassionally, especially as of recently.. Its realy hard for me to describe it though. Its deffinitely unique, but I wouldnt label it "tripping."

 

I also get this 'cartoon feeling' but real hallucinations happened only two times to me on weed.
One time on the strongest india I have ever smoked, I saw my friend as a giant rock with monkeys climbing on his face. sounds crazier than it actually was, it was more like imagining it to be like this. you will understand if you have experienced the same
And the other was on some weed from Spain where I saw a twisting tunnel on a really coarse wall

 

ahh, the power of suggestion...

weed may have dissociative effects, but it is amplified by your own mind. you will see/feel what you want to.

The only hallucinogenic effects of marijuana that i have experienced was while smoking a lot of weed while coming down off of a nice 2c-e trip.

 

ahhh I remember the old days of smoking when I would basically trip! savor them, they won't last forever

 

everything looks plastic, like grass. every time i smoke and i look at stuff, it just looks like it's plastic. it's weird.

 

i wish i had effects like that from weed. half the time i dont even get high..

 

Only time I ever tripped was off this shit called "the goo" i got in San Diego, like TheSun said, it was very mild and more in my head than an actual trip, my imagination just took off.

 

tolerance? it's starting to happen to me

i've had all those feelings before, pretty much. if you're getting intense visuals though, i'd say your shit might be laced though dude.

 

I get high.. if I wanted to trip, i'd buy some shrooms or acid..


Weed has never made things look inflated.... for me anyways.
