When should I tell my little brother?

He is 11 years old. He pretty much knows already, there have been a few times when I have been kinda blatant about it with him. Like I am always high when I babysit him and there have been a few incidents when he has seen altoids boxes in my pocket and he asked to have an altoid and I said no, so he was suspicious, etc. There was an incident a few days ago and now I am almost 100% sure he knows, I doubt he would snitch to my parents but I am afraid he might be worried about my health and snitch because of that. So I would like to talk to him about it and educate him so he deff doesn't snitch. However, he is only 11 years old and if I flat out tell him he might be worried and snitch. If I was 11 I would deff snitch, just because that is how I was raised and I would be worried, but now that I am 16 I know better and I see through the propaganda bullshit. He knows my friends drink and he thinks I drink and he hasn't snitched about that but idk about smoking. What do you guys think I should do? Sorry for the long post.

 

why would you tell him? he's 11, let him keep his innocence for awhile longer....

be a role model, set a good example and when the time is right (you'll know when it's right) then talk to him about it- but for now, leave well enough alone

I see no value of you telling him that you smoke. Its a personal preference and he is to young. He will some day ask you about smoking pot because he will be curious, just wait for that moment and inform him then.

 

Don't tell him, he is 11, give him a few years. I am sure my brother knows but then again he is 15, goes to the same school as me (aka hears stories ), and also I kinda just smoke in my room ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll wait to tell him now. I was just worried that he would tell my parents because he is worried about my health and I wanted to educate him before he snitched. He is too young tho, and I lied about my age because I thought u needed to be a certain age to be on these forums.

 

I would but I think he would probably deny it and then tell on me lol. Plus if he knows I smoke and he wants to, why wouldn't he ask me?

i'm kinda in the same situation, except my brother is slightly older (a month away from being 13). and he's never suspected anything, so that's another difference.

i plan to tell him/smoke him up the summer before i go off to college, as he'll be 14 and going into 9th grade. haha i don't think i'd be able to wait any longer than that. i know for a fact he's going to get into this shit possibly next year, and if not definitely the year after that. i can just tell by the people he hangs around with... just gotta give it time.

I'm pretty open about it. Most of my friends enjoy getting drunk, and I just remind them that alchohol is far more dangerous than weed.
The response is usually something along the lines of;
"IT'LL MAKE YOU SCHITSOPHRENIC!"
I tell them to do some research and stop believing everything 'talk to Frank' tells them.

whoaaa chill guys, a lot of you misunderstood my original post. My brother basically already knows I smoke. I know for a fact that he knows, but I want to talk to him about the health factors of MJ and how it isnt rly harmful before he goes to my parents because he is worried about my health. He knows already, he just hasn't actually seen me smoke, he has even seen bud in an altoids box in my room. I dont just want to tell my 11 year old brother for no reason, that would be fucking retarded.
