That stemless bubbler is OUTRAGEOUS! I would imagine that large honeycomb would make for some kind of Diffusion? Definitely an excellent piece! Do you happen to know the artist on the A/C? Looking VERY clean! Nice selection of tubes as well.

 

Yo guys thanks for looking, yea the big blue bubbler is made by blower nate dizz, he calls that honeycomb design a swiss perc, kinda like swiss cheese, it rips and diffuses very well, The ash catcher is made by fatmike, it creates a small bit of drag but i love that heady style, keeps the tubes nice and clean.

 

Ah, I've heard some people on TC refer to the Swiss Perc but had no idea what it was.

Saw another FM A/C with the exact color combo, just a bit smaller with a window. Gotta love very cleanly executed Reversals!

 

Nice shit man. Can't wait to pick up a toro this winter.

people like you post up pics of your awesome collection with true great artwork that takes a TON of skill to produce and barely anybody replies

yet people post up pics of a bunch of import and prodo stuff and they get pages of replies? there is more skill and art in your a/c than most every other piece posted in the forum combined

I was at the corner today buying propane. He's got these little 2mm thick glass pipes up on his counter for $15. Tiny little import bs - just junk. I asked him if he'd like to check out some of my stuff and he asked how much. Told him a good wholesale price and he seemed shocked at first. But when I told him how thick they were he told me to come on back with some stuff. See how it goes.

I hear ya though man. We've got a shop around here that buys from out of town. No imports that i could see, except the metal bullshit. But you'd that people would be more into some funky reversal pieces made locally than some over done i/o squiggles with a bit of gold blown in behind it that some kid in a sweat shop made for 20 cents a day.

 

For real headshops are gay they always overcharge. I wanna learn to blow glass and later open my own headshp with affordable pricing and custom shit done by me .

Nice pieces tho i fuckin love the ashcatcher and also that rasta bowl is pretty mean

 

lol they were probably used to only dealing with import junk and didn't realize REAL pipes sell for more than 50 cents wholesale haha

yeah i feel you on that too, inside out work, while it can look cool, is nothing special most of the time, and just random ass squiggles on the pipe. the way i look at if, if the color was on the outside, instead of the inside, it would look like fucking ass, which means its not all that great to begin with

i dont even think most people understand how reversals are made, or the high skill level it takes to get them looking clean and not fat and sloppy.inside out compared to reballs is kind of like the difference between making a mcdonalds cheeseburger, and making a gourmet 5 course meal reversals and wigwags are getting kind of "old" now in the sense they have been around awhile, but i remember when the real "headdy" stuff started switching from insane inso and fuming work to all the solid color reversals, and there were few people that could get them looking REALLY clean. no so much anymore, but reversals are still my favorite form of decoration on pipes

theres always so much improvment from when a technique starts getting popular to when its become standard, sandblasing and stencil work seems to be the new "fad" in glass, i wonder how far all the artists are going to able to take that
