It's the most wonderful time of the year

And I will be spending it alone.
My family members hate each other, but my mom seems to hate them the most. Especially her brother. Wish I had a brother to hate. Or a sister, even.
It's also my mother's birthday today. I busted my ass working this week so I could get her a present, and she hasn't even been around today.
This blows.

 

oh i'm so sorry i'm not having a very good christmas either, my boyfriend and i of two years broke up like three days before christmas eve.
you should try to do things to cheer yourself up, like bake yourself a nice dinner and pop in your favorite christmas movie!

So, she came home that night with a different guy than she went out with.
She brought new dude to christmas dinner with my grandparents, and this morning they jumped a plane to Vegas and are getting married.

 

so, how long do you think the marrage will last?
christmas is shit. it is just too damn crazy for just one fucking day a year! the best thing about christmas is when it ends.
halloween is my favorite holiday.
a great christmas movie is 'silent night, bloody night.' that should make you feel one hell of alot better.

They chickened out thankfully.
She had it in her head that if they got married, dude was still going to live in North Carolina while she lived in Florida.
My mom has major issues with infidelity, so there's no way in hell that would have worked.
