My mom and my sister don't care about anything I like. It's offical now.
We started talking about going to my aunt and my uncles tonight for christmas eve and they were both like "I hate dad's side of the family" and I said I liked dad's side because actually have something in common with them. mom was like "and what is that?" and I said "They actually like Robert Johnson, unlike you guys and they actually care about paranormalism stuff , again, unlike you guys."
and my mother and sister just ignored everything beyond that.
I hate how closed minded they are. It seriously makes me want to completely bitch my heart out at them.

Sorry, i just had to tell someone who would listen.

Just because they don't like paranormal stuff doesn't mean you can't find other things in common with them. If all you see is what you don't like well then yeah it's gonna be pretty negative.

 

i don't think there has ever actually been a valid dracula...

honestly, you aren't too bad; mostly just young. and i don't know you in person anyway.

but one of the main themes of your posts is to constantly say how awful your family is and yet i've never seen you make any sort of effort to hear their side of anything... and various other similar things.

The only i really have in common with my mother is art. We both like just creating things. With my dad ,we have alot in common. More than I do with everyone else. We like to build things, drive around on fourwheelers, have more patents then my sister and my mom, and he is actually willing to listen to what i like and watch my shows with me and we used to watch This Old House, The Old Yankee Workshop, Cops, and America's Most Wanted all the time, but I don't kow what happened with that. With my sister, I have no idea what we have in common. Other than some music and watching shows on physic's and the history channel, we don't have much in common.

I know I can be really harsh on them, but I at least do things that they like with them (not including mi padre), mom and alaina are just weird and will not buge on doing things that they don't want to. Like ,today my mom lied to my dad and said that she had a head ache so that she didn't have to go to his works Christmas party, and now she's gonna try really hard to get him to believe it's so bad that she can't go to his side of the family's christmas tonight (which I find bullshit because she always makes him do everything she does with her side of the family, and she has some kinda something with her family like every month or so).

They can anger my horribly alot and the only reason that I don't make up lies about not wanting to do stuff with them is because I don't want to stoop to their level.

 

eh, everyone's parents annoy them when they live with them.

i'm sure once you move out you will feel different. overall, they really don't sound all that bad.



and i almost guarantee that you and your mom have more in common than just art if you would take the time to try and find it. and even if not, there's still artsy things you could do together.
