    It's common for animals to be tattoo'd for identification purposes, but that's above and beyond.

    Ive never seen anything Like that. Is that even legal???
    I know tats for ID are ok. Ive had dogs with that, underlips. Now I have rfids in my dog.
    Dog had to be gases for that, Ill bet it was done illegal with ether/chloroform.. No Vet would approve of that. :( Im sure.

    If it was real I hope the dog promptly awakes to rip the owners lips right off his face. Having rescued fighting Pits myself that would be the best justice. I keep thinking of my dogs fate if I had not taken her and her sister.

    ksnake that is very nice of you an if everyone could just rescue a dog insted of having puppies and actualy get their animals fixed animals would be much better off. but for this picture that is absolutely horrible and very disterbing and i cant believe it. i hope that it is not true and they should never be aloud to own a pet again

    A lot of people, especially the more experienced breeders tattoo dogs as a means of Identification. As I'm aware it's done on the inside of the ears. I think I'm the only one who thinks of this as cruel. What's wrong with a microchip?
