what would earth look like 800,000 years from now

    watching the movie 'the time machine' intrigued me... i think insects will dominate the planet and grasshoppers will be the dominant species

    Grasshoppers get owned on a daily basis

    Bees or ants if any insect would be the ones to take over.

    All movies based on H.G. Wells books seem to suck.

    Maybe that's because his books aren't that good to begin with.

    What will the earth look like in 800,000 years from now?

    Very much like it did 800,000 years ago after our natural curiosity finally gets the best of us :(

    Perhaps we’ll attempt to accelerate evolution creating a plague that will destroy carbon based life at the genetic level, or create energies capable of punching a hole into the fabric of space/time, we’ll do something to fuck up the whole mess :mad:
