Three car accidents. None of them that bad. It's a miracle that I haven't been in more, considering how many times I've been a passenger in a car driven by a drunk driver.
I was closely following a drunk driver(my friend) last night on my motorcycle, when he was t-boned at an intersection. I spent the small hours of this morning translating in an emergency room....Hence the question.
Bicycle: 0 Motorcycle: 0 Car: 0 Other: 0.5 I almost rolled the 4-wheeler going over jumps and running through ditches.
Did he get in shit because he was drunk? I'm guessing that he didn't, since the accident wasn't his fault... and you are in Thailand.
Car: 5 Motorcycle: 2 (one on road and one off) Bicycle: Too many to remember Other: 1 (I was struck as a pedestrian)
Car: 2 Motorcycle: N/A Bicycle: 12323143. I made up that number because I was shitty at riding my bike and had a LOT of spills. Other: 0 The first carwreck was just a fender bender (girl hit the side of our car when we were slowing down and she was just taking off from a stop sign), and the second was a little worse, I hit my teeth on my chest, my neck was in some hell for a week afterwards.
He's fine. His passenger was a bit out of it for a while. He couldn't remember that he was in Thailand even though he has lived here for 5 years. It's amazing what a bit of concusion can do. No. The guy that hit him was drunker. But he may have some problems anyway as his insurance had run out on Friday. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
i've been rear-ended 4 times in various cars (including the driver's ed car). and i've gotten drunk and fallen off my bike a couple times.
Bike: Countless. I was a daredevil as a kid Motorcycle: Same Car: Somewhere between 6 and 10. 1 that involved another car on the freeway, 1 in which I was hurt. The rest have been by myself driving off the road (majority of the time just going off into a field). Other: Had some very VERY close calls on a few different boats. Drunken boating is fun but at least one person should remember to stay driving at all times the boat is in motion. EDIT:I've rolled fourwheelers and such on and off roads, and had a lot of road rash from rollerblading. I was good at it, but when you take the breaks off to go faster you gotta expect some gnarly falls.
Just rollerskating... but those don't happen too often... oh, and bike... those few ones happened in my childhood. Lol. I guess it's been 1-2 big ones in rollerskating and bike...
