Seems I can not sleep lately. When I lay down I feel like I am having my air choked off but there is nothing really doing this to me. Its keeping me awake.

It does it when I try to sleep no matter if I am sitting up or laying down, its not like I am choking just in my mind I feel I cant breath, its odd. I have been staying awake till I just pass out finally.

I have had sleep issues all my life, I dont sleep long or well. I can get 2-4 hours a night and be fine. I can stay awake for days and function fine.

I always have trouble falling asleep.. Onset insomnia I think they call it. I sleep like a bear when I eventually succeed, though.

Try having a wank before bed :)

your not gonna like my advice lol..

lose weight, exercise more, commit to a sleep routine for starters.

i tend to agree with squawkers, sounds like sleep apnea. the things i just recommended are going to be the first thing the doctor recommends as well..

I used to have serious sleeping issues, but I've realized, for me anyway, that smoking just a little bit of ganje right before you get ready to hit the hay gets rid of the typical, "why am I not asleep yet" and the other thoughts that keep you awake at night. and if that doesnt work, I'd say give melatonin a try or maybe some tryptophan.
