Opel, is there nothing you celebrate?

I shall be sitting on here all night unless there's something else going on.

I'll be working on New Year's Eve, then either staying home with the family or off to a friend's house for drinks and all that.

What's so wrong with that? Going out on NYE is always an anti-climax. There's so much pressure on you to have fun and an amazing night and it only ever turns out to be average anyway because it's too loud and you can't talk to anyone and everyone's gurning their faces off.

Nothing wrong with it, its just Ive done that every "new years eve" of my life and I fancy something different for a change. I dont want to go out to a massive party...thats not really my scene either. But something special would be nice

i agree, NYE is always an anti climax....the millenium the biggest anti climax EVER. i tend to find anything that ur meant to be out celebrating ends up being crap, and those of the cuff partys always end up bein much better.

We're opening the community centre and hiring a local 80's DJ.

Family environment kids, teens and adults, haveing an easy drink.

I'm going to bring in some of the party backdrops and a bit of lighting to the situation, hide the hall if you know what I mean. Gatherings with a wide age group are best.
