Movie Idea

So i got high before going to school, and while i was sitting there i thought up an idea for a movie.


The main character is 15 (my age) and scenes only occur when he is high. So it makes the viewer think a lot, trying to piece together what is happening. So if the character say, gets expelled, but is not high when he gets expelled, you wont see him getting expelled. You will only see the next time he gets high.

Is is a good concept?

 

Would be hard to pull together but a cool concept nontheless

 

Sounds kind of similar to the concept used in Moliere's play the Misanthrope. All the action takes place offstage and you only find out about it through the dialogue of the other characters and scenery doesn't change much. It makes action kinda slow. Yours wouldn't be like that though I am sure as you would probably have him doing some pretty action packed fun shit if he is stoned.

Dude I just can't see that kind of movie concept. Maybe is it because my mind is too abstract but hey if you think it is a brilliant idea, my advice would be to pursue that shit! The ideas you think of when high can be absolutely amazing and until you put them into full gear you will never know what could have been.

15 seems too young. all you do at 15 is sit on your ass, smoke, and go to school. hell, that's all i've been doing at 16 too. and probably 17, and half of 18, but then the other half of 18 is gonna be BALLIN' cause i'll be in college

And the film sounds great, I'd watch it.
Having said that the guy above me has a point. I'm 15 and neither me nor any of my friends get upto much crazy stoner shit, 18 or 19 would be better, and less controversial...

I'm absolutely amazed: I assumed that any movie idea posted by a 15-year-old in the Stoners Lounge would be fucking terrible, but I actually think that's a great concept. Really, really hard to pull off, but very interesting. I'm impressed, dude.

dude that idea seriously is not bad. i like it more and more. and i think there could be plenty of interesting shit, getting arrested, getting expelled as you said, fights with parents, fights with friends, jdc, concerts, fests, running away, hilarious smoke sessions, fucking with teachers, etc. i really do like that idea man
