rolling stones VS the beatles

    who do you prefer... the rolling stones or the beatles?
    i like the stones myself, they are more rebellious and have that attitude that really makes them rock

    I also prefer the Rolling Stones ,at least the 68-73 period when they had Mick Taylor in the band.

    i definately prefer the beatles in all their aspects. i sometimes like the stones too, but only few songs.

    The Beatles are the beat ever. I love the Stones though. These 2 bands are what rock is all about.

    This is a blasphemous question.. how can someone who loves music choose such a thing..Thats like saying um...air or water?? Do we not need them both to survive??? I love them both..but Id do Paul in a second(thats right, even now)

    fuck the Stones...never could like them to be honest.

    Brian Jones was a class act though...Jagger and the rest made it perfectly clear that they wanted no business creating the real music that Brian was involved with.

    The Beatles music was very popy to start out with, but like Magical Mystery tour, No one wille ver get away with the psycedelic feel of that album again, thats why I like he beatles, all kinds of hidden meanings and messages and trippy sounds :) Their Albums were monumental.

    Stones just Kick ass, Tattoo You still has to be my favorite album, but their stuff has been steadily really good since the start

    yeah, the Beatles were very pop during their start...even Lennon said that.

    kinda strange, how they started out sell outs, but got down to business with real music later on in their careers....usually its the other way around.

    The purpose is for people who have never really listened to the Stones and read that. The Rolling Stones are great and If you cant appriciate Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Exhile On Main Street, and Sticky fingers then somethings wrong bc thats the 2nd best run of albums ever. I can understand someone not likeing the Stones sounds maybe but to say they suck, come on now. Also i like to talk about music and this is a forum for that.
