I don't like the word "deserves". It implies there is some ultimate metric of how to mete out things based on actions. Where is this metric? What logic does it follow? How is it applied in the real world, by what mechanisms? No, no. There is no deserving. Deserving is an outdated mode of thinking. Everyone IS everything IS no one IS no thing. Do YOU "deserve" YOU?
Maybe the OP means that whatever is in your heart will come out and envelope you. If love is in your heart, you are bathed in love. If an emptiness or deceit is there, those may swallow you. idrk
its like acid will decide what aspects of you it agrees or disagrees with, affecting the type of experience you have. If you have been acting foolishly and irresponsibly acid might force you to confront it, or if you have been acting with good "vibes" it will reinforce it. I understand that its hard to say who deserves what, but lsd's logic will decide what you deserve. But then the question is can we trust lsd's logic?
LSD isnt conscious, it cant act of its own free will. It doesnt have morals, logic, or any agenda. It causes introspection, but the experience is all internal, you confront your own actions. LSD is a catalyst for your mind to sort itself out.
Well that might be OK if you think LSD is an entity hiding amongst teh fibres of your tab. But a lot of people actually believe that LSD is a chemical which affets your brain. if you have been acting foolishly and irresponsibly, you likely will have covered up your judgement of yourself with some superficial thought-distractor like 'oh but I didnt mean it' or 'oh they were going to have that fate regardless of me'. But these thoughts are small and basic.. they are carved through when we take psychedelics. Psychedelics merely let us see the way that everything is related.. they let us understand the similarity between the bad things we do and the bad things that befall us. This allows us to hold the two things in our mind at once and this gives the impression that they are meaningfully related, as if one came about because of the other.
I feel that you dont get what you deserve, but i do believe that bad trips happen to bad people, or atleast the guilty.
I dont really get what your saying, Ive had bad trips, but I wouldnt say because of anything bad Ive done, or feel guilty about.
haha i dont actually think its an entity, or that is has its 'own' agenda, but i think theres a certain type of logic that lsd reinforces or moves people towards, so how well you align with this logic determines what experience you get. Someone who takes it who is completely close-minded and stubborn will not align well and is probably more likely to have a bad experience.
Its not. Bad trips happen to me when something in my environment causes negative thoughts, not because Im a bad person. Im sure it could happen, someone having a bad trip because they felt guilty about something, but its not the only possible reason.
