Fish oil also helps the seas to be emptied of fish.. try vegetable oils instead, they work as well!

Exercise has been proven to be just as effective as medications in treating depression in most people.

Take a hint. Get off your butts.

Again, it's non-conclusive. I used to take St. John's. I suppose it helped. But I just gave up anti depressants anyways.

vege oil (mostly linseed/flax oil) contains only the most simple omega-3 ALA (alpha-linoic acid?)

the body CAN convert this to the more complex DHA but only in limited amounts. DHA is the omega-3 associated with mood, cognitive function and other neat things. You won't get substantial amounts of DHA from plant oils

vege oil will mostly give you clear skin, so if you are depressed about acne then go for it.

There is algae based omega-3, alternatively you could include spirulena(sp?) in your diet.

Fish oil is the most cost effective remedy, although you should by a good brand as there is mecury in sea fish.

Incidently, the fish oil is mostly made from fish heads...and if it wernt sold to consumers it would be turned into feed for fish farms
