I put 6 seeds in a moist cotton towel which I places within a re-sealable plastic bag. That was around 2-3 days ago, and there has been no change whatsoever. The only difference that I can see now thats different from before I put the seeds in the towel is that now they look more dark in color and more "meaty" inside. The temperature inside the plastic bag is ranging from 71F to 75F. The seeds are in a drawer away from sunlight (right or wrong?) Please help me with this issue A.S.A.P! Thanks!
if they were very dry, it may just take time to convince them "springtime" has come. soak them in room-temp water for 2-3 hours and plant. within a week you should be able to tell which sprouted
for me seeds have taken anywhere from a few hours to 4 or 5 days to see any difference when germinating. Keep it in a glass of water half full and in a dark place (no light whatsoever) and check after about 24 hours. Also keep your seeds in a sealed container in the fridge until you need them and handle them wearing gloves, nicotine is like poison to them aswell so if your a smoker then definitely dont handle them without gloves, other than that like Nate said....just chill
Germinating is overrated.........soak seeds in a shotglass of ph'd water for 24 hours then drop 'em into the soil.......no need to get a taproot before putting in the soil, imo.
just put seeds directly in the soil. they don't need be in paper towels or anything...i've planted many right in soil, and its always worked for me.
