Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

I love this man. He's been around since the '80s (in the punk/goth band The Birthday Party), and he's still churning out albums in 2008. There's an awesome intensity and atmosphere to all this music. My favorite thing about Nick Cave is how he's such a chameleon...on certain songs he is one badass motherfucker, on others he's absolutely tender and sublime.

Best albums: Abattoir Blues, Murder Ballads

I don't know how to imbed videos, but if you haven't seen him live, check him out on youtube. Live Nick Cave is a force to be reckoned with.
