So I had kind of an interesting conversation with my Mom today. I had just smoked a bowl and went downstairs to eat and she says 'you smell like smoke.' She doesn't approve, but tolerates, though she likes to call me out sometimes. I just said 'I do?' Then she asks me if It's 'cause of hanging around Wes (my boyfriend who smokes cigs), or am I smoking. I laughed and said 'Mom, you know what I smoke.' And then she said 'oh,' and nodded and goes on to tell me how, being a smoker at one time, she knew first hand how bad it is for your lungs. Lol. I really have it so easy, I'm smoking with the door open right now.
My mom does that too. I'll come downstairs from my room high as shit & she'll even say 'look at you, you're so high right now' & I'm just like uh, no I'm not. Or my eyes will be bloodshot & I'll say it's because I'm tired. And she'll say my room smells like pot & I'll say no it doesn't your smelling things. Every once in a while she'll get serious & be like you shouldn't be doing it, what happens if you have to take a drug test, what about your health (I was born w/ a heard defect but I take a few meds now & I'm fine). But as I said, she pretty much leaves me alone and I swear she knows, but she just doesn't want to confront it, or whatever.
Lol. Yeah, mine will say things about drug testing and jobs every once in a while too but really pretty much leaves me alone. I think she's just glad I barely drink. Lol.
My mom caught me for the first time on the last day of my Thanksgiving break. She didn't really care and even took a couple tokes from my bowl. Hippie parents ftw
haha my mum is pretty much the exact same but she talks about school instead of job/drug test, i told her as soon as i started though since she used to but she can be way over the top sometimes, like if iv had a bowl with friends at my house and she sees me she always says something like " take it easy jimmy, your stoned out of your mind...dont smoke anymore this evening" haha or something along those lines but shes pretty cool about it most of the time
Well if you were born with a heart defect she's always gonna worry even if your on meds, thats some pretty serious shit man, I don't know if I'd risk dying just to smoke weed. Unless your meds have made you completley healthy, then I'd smoke up lol.
My mom actually knows i smoke weed, like i keep all my paraphenalia in the garage at her request, but she loves to call me on it.... Evertime she finds something away from my stash or i smell like weed she calls me out and kinda acts mad... It kinda pisses me off because she told me i could smoke but she still tags me on it everytime.. Annoying as hell
She doesn't want to give you a free pass because she's afraid it'll lead to you pushing the boundaries (I dunno...shooting heroin at the kitchen table or something?), so she feels obligated to give you a hard time even though she actually doesn't care if you smoke pot or not. That's all. You should feel lucky; you've got it pretty good.
My mom has smoked with both my sisters before. Sometimes she can be cool with me smoking and sometimes not. She thinks have no smoked in a couple of years. I try to be smart as hell and hide it
my mom walked in on me rolling a joint a few months ago. She just told me to take the dog out and walked away. So I walked out into my living room with the joint in my mouth, went outside to let the dog out and smoked it. I came back in and my mom was like "so how was that joint?" I just said "good" and walked back into my room.
