1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

You could also subscribe to the forums and get an upgrade to Supporter or Lifetime Supporter here

I've been reading this forum for years, and read a lot of the posts.. But I feel like I don't fit in and I get sad.

Haha, it's because being here since 2004, to have friends here, you have to keep up with the other posters, and you've only got 1,721 posts for 4 and a half years, lol.

    I guess I don't fit in.

Edit - z0mg I guess I had more posts than I originally thought.

All the same... maybe if you weren't a lurker, people would like you.

You're like the intertubes version of that creepy kid in grade school that sat alone at lunch and wore his dad's Vietnam trenchcoat.

Haha, just try and jump into the fray a bit more. It's not hard, there is no such thing as a clique here (lmfao, okay I lied! haha) But seriously, just don't sweat it, just post a bit more.

Years ago I used to post a lot more.. I actually had a bunch of posts under my belt before a glitch wiped everything out. Some of the older RT'ers will remember when everyone's post count went bye bye.. At any rate.. I don't jump into every conversation and I don't start a lot of threads.. I guess being an introvert doesn't help matters. I guess I regret not being more "noisy"..

You can just get more noisy. I'm definatly an introvert too, and I know how quickly you can get left behind here if you don't post often enough. I guess its just the nature of place.

On the same note as the Droopster, while there may be a clique, it REALLY isn't hard at all to be accepted, you just have to make yourself known around these parts. If you're disgusting, you'll fit right in at RT. :D
