    I've never seen a badger :(

Yes I've seen plenty of dead hedgehogs, and I'm not a necrophile so I didn't enjoy it!

Why do you identify yourself as a secular humanist and what does it mean to you?

    Good old Facebook...

Hmm, it was through some research I did for my philosophy and ethics coursework last year when I was comparing green credentials within christianity, paganism and humanism. It wasn't too long after I'd 'come out' as such as an atheist and I was looking for a philosophy I could identify with. Humanism seemed to make a lot of sense as it acknowledges that we've only got one life, and any ceremonies within it focussed on the human race as something to celebrate, which I really like. Also they have a lot of history with green burials, which I'm morbidly interested in. As far as my green research went I came to the conclusion that because humanists did actions for the good of the human race then it was logical not to harm the environment for the generations to come. So yeah.

Do you ever just become overwhelmed by life and cry for reasons you cant pinpoint precisely?

Yep, usually followed by feeling ill.
