Are bad smokers buzzkills?

So last night i scored a nice fat sack. It was around an ounce and a half. I got fucked up with one of my best friends earlier, but then this other guy i know came over. Ive never toked with the guy before, but he said he knew what he was doing, something about how he rolled some big ass blunt lmao.

So you know i had the bong out, bubbler, a few bowls like ready to get really fucked up. Well we started off with the bong and I got a nice milky rip outta it. There was ice in the bong so it was hitting nice and smooth. I pass the bong off to him and he gets some bitch hit off. I let him hit it again thinking that maybe he just needed to get used to the bong.

Well about 5 bowls later he still cant really get a good hit off. The whole time were passing it back and forth, Im taking some big hits while hes taking little bitch hits. It didnt bother me at first but then hed just cash the bowl when he barely got any hit at all. Then when we were high hed like spaz out for no reason at all.

By the end of the night I smoked about 4 or 5 grams with the kid, me smoking most of the 4 or 5 grams. I was high as hell but I wasnt acting like a complete retard like this kid. Were both the same age im just guessing i can handle my weed better than this guy. So all in all do you think bad smokers are buzzkills? If someones acting retarded around me when im high it will usually annoy me. If someone cant hit glass is that a buzzkill?

I usually call people that annoy the living shit out of me "Stanleys"

Sometimes that can be a buzzkill for me. But the person would have to be acting really stupid. In the situation you described I don't think I would have minded it too much, he probably hasn't been smoking as long as you or hasn't built up a tolerance yet so of course he is going to be taking small hits and all. There is nothing wrong with that. I don't see why so many smokers think it is competition to be ripping huge ass hits every single time. If you have the lungs to do that, that is great! If not, keep on toking anyways.

I call people who are just starting to get high for the first time "little kid stoned" because they are just getting into the experience. In my own opinion my "little kid stoned" days were the best highs of my life. I could get high off of one or two hits and conserve a whole gram for like three or four days. Then you start to build up that tolerance where you need a couple of grams a day just to stay high. If you think about it, it's all the same. Everyone just getting high.

So unless that guy was like wiggin' out hardcore after smoking, I don't think it matters much. I don't like to smoke with people who get too stupid though. They ruin and risk my high. Peace

That wouldn't have been a buzzkill rather it would have annoyed me, and i would say he didn't know how to smoke.

 

I've smoked with a few people like that, it really gets annoying... We were smoking a blunt with this big dealer that did ultimate fighting and this nerdy guy I was with went blind and had a horrible panic attack.

i have no problem smoking with people who are new to the whole experience, everyone has to start somewhere

i do have great issue with those that try and act like they are some experienced seasoned smoker who knows everything when it's quite obvious they are not. these kind of people get a tongue lashing and a swift kick out of the smoking circle

there is no reason why someone who is new has to act like a complete moron. ive smoked up plenty of people who have never smoked, or only a few times. most have been very chill and act like a normal human being. it's not a function of being new to smoking that makes people act like retards, its a function of the person themselves. if your an annoying idiot when your high odds are you will be sober too. if your a well rounded mature person odds are you will be pleasant to those around you when high

 

It is really fucking bitch when people smoke but don't inhale. I have a few friends (many of which are girls) that whenever they smoke they barely inhale or even get high at all.

I don't mind that people don't like to smoke, but still want to hang out. But when they smoke and don't even get high it's just a waste of weed.

That being said I think its hilarious to smoke with n00bs

 

Im definitely not hating on the kid for taking small hits. The only time when i would get pissed at him for taking little bitch hits is when he would cash the bowl and still take a small hit. A couple of times he just would not pass the weed being smoked and i just had to stop him and refresh his memory that he was smoking my weed, puff puff pass, there shouldnt be any hold up in the rotation.

And i kept offering to hit the bong with him but all he wanted to do was hit one of my little bowls. Idk maybe i just need to select the people I toke with a bit more carefully. Im all for smoking weed with newbs, just if theyre going to act like retards around me Im probally not going to want to hang with that person anytime soon.

I feel you man. All in all it sounds to me he isn't experienced. He doesn't know the stoner code of law, common courtesy, etc. That would piss me off too, but I would try and explain to him, if he didn't get it then I probably would have given him the boot out of the circle. They have to learn somehow.

And there are certain universal rules that stoners should always apply by no matter where they are. Everyone knows these except the new guy. Maybe that was his deal? I dunno man. peace.

The kid told me he knew what he was doing and said he had smoked before. He asked me if I wanted to hang out with him wednesday... lol I think ill smoke my weed with someone else.

 

It is supremely annoying but you can just tune it out, calm yourself down, get over it, etc. Basically hold the attitude of "I'm not gonna let your stupid habits and behaviors effect my high. My high is more important than your stupidity". That way you can just be above their sad level.

 

i dont mind smoking with noobs unless they start going off on how wicked baked they are or when your having a conversation with a couple people and that guy chimes in with "you guys are freakin me out." always a buzz kill

haha ya right i was telling him to smoke more. lol he when we were done smoking he wanted to roll a blunt. he kept wanting to smoke one of my bowls and kept calling it by the wrong name. i was telling him smoke the bong it will get you higher so you dont have to smoke as much but he kept insisting to hit the bowl which he got a worse hit out of than the bong.

i asked him why he couldnt hit glass very well and apparently all he smokes is blunts. lmao idk how he can afford it, he told me he scores regs at 15 a gram. i was trying to hold in my laughter
