Someone broke in my house tonight-crazy story.

I was chillin' at a friends right down the road from me, smokin' drinking alittle, friday night, everythings great. I get a call on my cell..its my security company.. "Your alarm has been activated, where notifying the police."

Considering I don't trust the cops and im right down the street... my friend and I get ready to go see whats going on. He grabs he's dads rifle and I got my .357 in the car.. We race down there, jump out of the car see my front door kicked in, my heart starts pounding, so we barge in the house, guns drawn, i'm thinking im gonna get to shoot some crack baby takin' off with my stero.

Nothing.. noones there, nothing really seems to be missing... Then I goto the kitchen... and can see stuff has been rifled through.

2x Ham sandwhich
1x Lays chips
1x 2l coke


....wdf I got about 8-10k in electronics in my house and this mother fucker is just hungry?.

If they were that hungry they could have just asked..I would have gave them some munchies I mean wdf and I wouldnt have to be replaceing my door.

heh, I guess my krama isnt too bad after all though.. Could have been worse..


At least they didnt shit in my pillow cases.

at least you had the right attitude. fuck people invading your space, i would respond with at least the same force, gotta keep those bastards in check. i've always wished i'd catch someone breaking into my house just so i could shoot/maim/tie-them-up-and-torture-them

lmfao my friend apartment got robbed once like 5 years ago and he had this big rack at the time full of cd's. the people stole a few dumb things and the onyl cd's they took were two rap ones his friend had in there. we still laugh about it to this day.

where do you live? since only 13 states or so have "Castle Laws".. if you would have shot this intruder you would have been fucked... just cuz someone is in your house doesnt mean you can go and shoot them..

Ya know, I have lived in a not so good part of town all my life and sad none of my places have ever been broken into. ever.
Where I work, which a "better" neighborhood, there's some mexican going around getting into peoples cars and taking shit and getting in their yards and taking shit. crazy shit man.
last year there was this guy in a rural town near here and he shot two black men who broke into his neighbors home and he shot em in the back when they were running away. They died. He got indicted. He was found not guilty because my state does have castle laws. The issue was, that they didnt break into his house, they broke into the neighbors who were away. the shooter was white.
Suddenly, these guys who had several convictions from d.u.i, to drug posession, gun charges and burglary, were made out to be the victims of some trigger happy white man. their "fiancees" went on tv and demanded he go to jail for killin em, when they themselves should have been the ones in jail. the men who got killed I mean.
Shit, If you break into peoples homes, you should expect to get shot. karmic comeuppance.

Damn and I was hoping to read some crazy story about your foot going into multiple peoples asses. That is funny as fuck that someone would bother kickin in a door just for some munchies, shiet.

Side note, Illinois has an extended castle law that gives you the right to defend yourself in a vehicle, home, place of employment or any place you have legal right to be against intruders/robbers.

i agree, if someone breaks in my house ive got a crowbar and a few different blades next to my bed for the up close and personal touch. not to mention quiet

 

Wow you are lucky.

My house has only been broken into once, and they stole quite a bit of drugs/money, BUT, my laptop/ipod was sitting right in the living room and they didn't touch it so things coulda been worse..Some people are really desperate/ greedy/ stupid.

There's 12 states with a "make my day" law where there's no duty to retreat no matter where you are, house, car, park, ect

 

Gotta wonder in practice where the burden of proof lies when such matters find their way into the court system. There must be a way of skillfully "lawyering" around the fact that an intruder was in fact an intruder as much as diverting from a person's right to protect himself and his possessions by deliberately fanning the flames of racism or other incendiary distraction.

With the economy going into the shitter I wonder how much food and other basics are going to become a target of break-ins in the coming couple years.
