Okay you guys, im a stoner. I used to smoke 5 times a day at school. Got caught, have drug tests now. Have passed some, have failed a couple. Its been about a month since my last one. I have passed 3 now in a 6 month period or so. The catch is, now I am 18 years old. Yeah i live at home, but if my parents drug test me, which im pretty sure they will still do, what do i do? If i fail for pot, what can they legally do? Because my dad has threatened me with rehab. Rehab, for pot, jesus christ lol. Let me know!
They can do whatever they want. You live with them, their rules. Oh, and it's also illegal to smoke pot, making the law on their side too.
They aren't gonna turn you into the cops, unless of course they're crazy. If they did that, it would be TONS of money out of their pocket. Rehab is a possibility, however that's also gonna be money for them... It really sucks that they can't just be more understanding, but such is life. I wouldn't worry about you turning 18 or anything, regarding your parents. I'm gonna be 18 tomorrow actually, and my parents know and are fine with me smoke, but I'm going to be EXTRA careful of the police... If you have the balls, try to come up with a good way to tell them that you don't have a problem. Explain to them how pot is safer than alcohol and that you would only do it in the house etc...
true that. more people need to get involved not just ignore the rules. just sitting around and saying it should be legal and taking action are diffrent. technicaly they can do that suff more importantly they can just report you to the police. to find out more about the laws in your area check out http://www.norml.org
