    Hello All,

I've been following this forum for ages and thought what better way to make a first post than to ask for help from all the people that from what I've seen really know their stuff. Any help would be much appreciated.

This is my first grow. Got some seeds from a mate and germied them in a glass of water, planted into Peat Pots (cardboard pulp, no transplanting required and allows the roots to grow through). After 2-3 weeks they could handle the wind and rain quite well and thought that the sooner i got them planted, the stronger they would be from being out in the open from a young age. Most of the knowledge i apply to my growing is mostly from this site and a couple of others if i couldn't find it here.

I water them daily and last week decided to fertilise them. I used Yates Lawn Fertiliser as it has the best NPK out of anything i had at 22/2/3 as i've heard that P and K can give you males if you fertilise with them too early. I diluted it to a ridiculous weakness to be careful but i'm afraid it still wasnt enough and i'm thinking a case of fert burn. Can you please give me any pointers and tell me what the yellowing on my main plant and the browning on the tips of the rest are caused by. I never water them in the sun so its not sunburn from droplets. At night i cover them with the bottom half of a Coke bottle with airholes cut in it. I also have Blitzem around the edge of the tub to take care of the snails:wink:.

If you need any more info on my methods or some more photos to give you a better look please let me know and ill post straight away because my lush green little ladies (let's hope :D) seem to have taken a turn for the worst. I planted the seeds on November 3rd and today it is the 6th of December so they are around 1 month old.

    Any help is much appreciated,

    Cheers, Funk

    Hi Funk

In my opinion your using the wrong feed it's very very strong and u shouldn't need to water every day 2/3 days maybe if they need it.
Try Maxicrop Seaweed which is a Plant Growth Stimulant or
Maxicrop Citrus they are both 5/5/5 and I have been using them with superb results.
What type soil are they in?

lawn fertilizer is really heavy-duty, and excessive for a pot plant.

i use shultz liquid ferts to veg, and always good results (15-10-15 or something)
