There's an old song by the Ames Brothers from the 50s called 'You're Undecided'. "First you say you do and then you don't, Then you say you will and then you won't, You're undecided now!" Bush says he's against a U.N. plan that 85 other countries signed to control population because of a clause that refers to the use of condoms. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...p/20041015/ap_on_re_us/un_population_agenda_1 Days later, Bush says he supports the measure but won't sign it. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm...p/20041015/ap_on_re_us/un_population_agenda_1 One little issue of wording has caused Bush to cave in to the religious right and not go along with a plan that makes so much practical sense, just because of a mental frustration over an ideological hangup.
He said a similar thing about the Kyoto treaty, that almost every major country signed. He claimed to be for it but wouldn't sign it. It's a persistent pattern with him. So, ok. I'm all for Bush! (but I'm not going to vote for him)
