Can someone help me interpret what it means?? I had a dream last night.. that i crossed paths with my ex boyfriend who i was with for 2 years and was also my first love. he also cheated on me many times and that was the cause of our veryvery bad break up. i still have some feelings of the past for him, but when i see him in person.. i'm just losing the feeling slowly. anyways, in the dream we started talking again and i talked about getting back together. he was unsure, but gave it a try. after going out together for the first time, that night when we came back, he mentioned that it wasn't going to work out and that i changed. i asked him why and started crying and said that it takes time for feelings to come back and that he shouldn't give up. then i asked him was it because there was someone else? and he said kind of. he said he wasn't sure if she liked him back and wanted to find out. and i asked him if it was the last girl he cheated on me with. and he sort of shrugged, and i knew it was her. i begged him but he just said he wasn't feeling it. and later on he met up with that girl and she mentioned that my ex wasn't her type and didn't see him as a boyfriend and that she liked someone else. he came back to me and we made love and fell back in love with each other. i think that is whacked!! i guess i may still be hurt from our really horrible break up a year ago, but why would i suddenly dream about this kind of stuff? i mean i think about him from time to time and i know my feelings for him are slowly disappearing but just having that dream it makes me think of him even more. i guess i'll never get over him. i'm also dating someone else too... ughh. what does it mean?
oh yeah and i forgot to mention.. since i really hated the last girl he cheated on me with... in the dream, i apologized to her for everything... and when i woke up i actually don't really feel anymore hatred towards her...
Hi tc1124, ok this is not an interpretation ... I think there is not much to tell that you don't know already. Closure sometimes needs longer than we'd liked to. On the other hand it's easier than we sometimes want to believe. Yet it is all part of your growing. I still have an ex-boyfriend coming into my dreams after many years - not often any more but surprising each time. So, what I plan on doing next time in dream is I'll tell him to butt outta my dreams period, thank you very much. I just gotta remember this in time ! (and this is said without bad feelings). Other than that, I let him be whoever he wants to be. Any hidden resentment I need to become aware of and resolve from within. Yup all these lessons are about our own self and where we want to go with it inside ... so there is work to do anyway !
