Well, I lived in Austin for 3 years then my Father graduated from UT and we moved to New Orleans, where I stayed for 12 years. I moved to NC to go to college and have been up here in the triad area of North Carolina for the last 10, or so, years.
Austin is a beautiful city. The best city in Texas, really. Have you ever been to Hippie Hollow on Lake Travis? I went twice this summer... it's worth the drive! I've also visited New Orleans several times. It was lovely.
