    Audio cassette you purchased: jimi hendrix smash hits
    CD you purchased: remembered it was some ocora collection of middle eastern music, persian?
    Mp3 you downloaded/purchased: a collection of joe gibbs productions on the amalgamated label [reggae]

    Song you remember hearing: either 'baby elephant walk' or 'green onions', not sure but those loom large in my memory
    Album you remember being played in your home: the henry mancini albums with those two songs [sadly, it was not the booker t 'green onions' i remember]

    Artist/band you remember listening to as a child: child? before the rock there was classical, i liked tchaikovsky a lot
    Artist/band you remember identifying with: identification seems like more of a teen thing, so i'll say hendrix or the who, i don't recall really identifying with much of anything or anyone tho, of course that changed when punk started...

    Vinyl record you purchased: remembered that i was buying hip-hop on vinyl from grandmaster flash through nwa, so probably 'straight oughtta compton'?

    CD you purchased: not sure, augustus pablo 'original rockers' perhaps
    Mp3 you downloaded/purchased: count machuki 'foundation deejay' compilation of old reggae 45s
    Song you listened to: whatever i last posted in the reggae 'currently playing' thread, though listening to heptones 'choice of colors' right now

    Vinyl record you purchased: I bought a huge stack of them at a yard sale for 50 cents each. There were heaps of LPs... but I suppose the one that sticks out now is Elvis Costello's Armed Forces-- great album.
