What kind of dog should i get?

get a mutt! ive never owned a pure breed dog. i love little mutts. ive got a collie cross greyhound and a spaniel cross pointer. they are the best dogs ever

 

If you're going for purebreed I'd say either an Irish Setter or an alsatian.
As for crossbreeds, husky/alsatian crosses are absolutely badass, everyone will think you got a wolf

he does fine but ya gotta remember we live in the mountains. it rarely gets above 90.

 

I dont know what kind of dog you should get, but I want a black pug.

 

My old neighbour used to have one. It was a funny little dog, instead of walking it would crawl and also oink like a little piggy.

 

I know they are so silly. I babysat for one for a week, it was a puppy and it basically thought I was his mom. It would cry if I was sitting on my desk using the computer and wouldnt pick him up and put him on my lap, but I love attached pets.

I have a miniature schnauzer.

I can't adopt pets from the pound. The pound won't let me have a cat.....and I've had bad experiences with dogs. My parents adopted a puppy for me when I was a toddler and it tried to take my face off when I was napping. It of course was taken back and put down. My parents tried again when I was older and it attacked me too. I'm better with strays and dogs I buy from local breeders.

 

miniature schnauzers are alright, but someday i want either a standard or a giant

they're fucking awesome dogs, so long as you have enough time to play with them lots and keep em busy...and very loving and loyal dogs, too.

giant schnauzers would be great gaurd dogs to protect the home, they're adorable, and they're a lot of fun, and they're really smart....great dogs:cheers2:

I'd recommend the Chow Chow's.. Little furry lion-looking badasses.. The only dog breed I have any respect for.

 

why can't you adopt cats and dogs from the pound?
