can i just grow normally like other plants?

My friend just got seeds from a friend of a friend that was growing.
he offered me some 10 seeds today, i said ok and he gave me them.
Can i just have a couple plants growing by my window with my ionizer fan blowing around my room?
and with a lamp turn on above em? i just want to know because i am wondering if i'd have to make a foil insided box for them to grow in.

and can i use reverse-osmosis water from my cooler?

 

small chance may work but i doubt it will turn into good quality bud if your just going to grown like any other house plant
Also if the seeds are not feminised you will have to keep an eye on the acidity of the soil, and regulate as a good chance that they will turn out male if this is not watched and male plants do not produce bud.
