Are any of ya'll going to Spookstock 3?

Come on down. I used to live in VT and am trying to get my buddie's band Roswell Incident booked there. Roswell Incident is tearing it up in VT,NY,and northern Mass.

They have these things called Schwagstock every 4-6 weeks during the summer and fall. Spookstock 3 will be the last one of the season. Its an awesome scene. Just like a show but its on private property so theres no cops! Come on down!

I Am Sooooo Excited!

 

We need to have another hipforums meet up. I missed the last one because I slept all afternoon. oops

 

Last year was awesome! It was in this building and we camped inside. But this year it's at camp Zoe and they are having a carnival and The schwag plays each night.
I have been to 15 Schwagstocks, Spookstocks and Evestocks. It is the most awesome musicfest's. Bonnaroo is a great group of jam bands but security and some of the people were rude. At a Schwagstock the people are Kind and The Schwag is the best Greatful Dead tribune band I ever heard. There are no cops and The Schwag owns the 330 acre campgrounds, called Camp Zoe. So your ticket money goes back into Zoe instead of lining a promoters pocket. I have seen awesome bands there. Green Mountain Grass, Madahoochi, Bachmans Euphio, Speakeasy, Spooky Daily Pride just to name a few.

Hi Angela! Sorry I missed you at Schwagstock 24. I got to Shakedown about an hour later then I told you. I was at the meet Sat though. Did you ever make it?

 

I wish I could go. Too bad I live in New Jersey...

 

I didn't make it to either of the meets. Maybe next time. Call me again Taz, and this time we WILL meet!

YOU ALL SHOULD GO TO SCHWAGSTOCK!! its a great place with great people and its just beautiful.. i only been to two but they were awesome

 

Schwagstock ROCKS!!!! This will be my 4th time there. My birthday is on Halloween and I can't think of a better place to celebrate my b-day than at Spookstock with my friends and tons of cool people and great bands. We should all make plans to have a meet up. Any suggestions as to place, time etc?

 

This will be my first Spookstock. I heard it is a great time. Goin down w/ four buddy's who really arent into the Dead but i hope they have a good time. Maybe meet up w/ sum of u.

 

If your buddies aren't into the Dead they more than likely will be into the Dead after their experience at Spookstock.

Lets all set up a time and place to have a hipforums meet up. I was sick last time and slept most of Sat afternoon (and evening for that matter).

Spookstock 3 Oct. 29-31 at the ZOE Campitheater 28 miles south of Salem, MO on Hwy 19 (about 2 hours south of St. Louis)
Tickets are $30 for the entire weekend & include all shows, camping, & parking (no hidden costs I swear)...sat & sun tics are $20 & sunday only tics are $10

Spookstock is a rain or shine event & the weather looks awsum all weekend.
Spookstock 3 will also feature an assortment of vendors, carnival rides (ride tics are extra but cost $1.75 per ride), costume contests, hay rides, all night bonfires, drum circles & swimming if your up for it.

The Hipforums meet up will be at 2pm Saturday afternoon at the picnic table at Eat at Zoes. Look for the sign,you can't miss it. see ya'll there.

BTW: The 31st is my birthday and Jimmy from the Schwag said they'd play some of my requests. Race is on,Beat it on down the line,Monkey&the Engineer, If I had the World to Give,Dark Star and Ripple. I can't think of a better place to celebrate my b-day then there at Spookstock 3. I just hope they don't drag me up on stage and sing Happy Birthday.
