Apparently it isn't considered incest in Canada. I found that out a few years ago while reading about our marriage laws, in every province it is legal to marry your first cousin. Don't think many people do it though as it still seems taboo.

I did some research on royalty and it was quite common to marry cousins. At least in the past, not too sure about today. It was part of the way to keep their bloodline pure royalty. I mean there are only so many families that are royal, I guess it kind of limits their choices.
