Yup, Slovakians have excellent beers! and Budweiser's fine, but Gambrinus (probably one of the worst beers I've ever drunk) is the cheapest. (for a reason.)
the second one is a witbier, its supposed to be light! but its not light on flavor, just crisp and refreshing. its made with a substantial amount of wheat malts, a belgian style yeast, and is brewed with a little coriander and orange peel. its good for summertime. the third one is orange because, again, theres different malts used, but its also a vewry strong IPA so it uses a ton of malt, and the more you use the darker it will look, even if you aren't using dark malts:cheers2: mmm, ipas http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_pale_ale
you really should, it's such a lovely city it was definitely one of my favourite cities in europe plus i have family there, and it was such a good place to party :cheers2:
how are golden pheasant, rebel, and zatec? i want to try more czech beers, and these are the ones i see in the store. i just want to know if you've had these which ones you like
Hm.. Zlatý Bažant (Golden Pheasant) is kinda good.. Rebel too.. well they're all good, but they're not the top.
they say you know what you love, and hell, i love beer i love learning about it, so much history, and so much that goes into making it...and so many different ways to make it!! i like making it (i dont know about places in europe, but in the US you can brew your own beer at home legally, and make your own wine, too, but you can't distill anything at home) but most of all i like drinking it and trying new beers hell, ive only had one still. i think i will get a little snack then have another:cheers2:
okay, i figured as much. i will get around to trying them sometime, but there are so many out there to try
We used to be able to distill our own alcohol at home, but the European Union... Wow! I haven't ever met someone so interested in beers (except drinking as many beers as possible ) Enjoy another one, I'll go to bed. Good night.
And why all the corn patches thoughout the south? Oh, yeah, it's because they love corn. Rebels, I tell you!
hehe, i never said people DIDNT distill their own liquor! but i guess i take after my dad. he loves beer, and he used to homebrew all the time, and smelling the boiling wort brings back fond memories of childhood, even though i hated the smell at first....and well, when i was 14 or 15 or so if i stole a beer from my parents here or there it was usually something good....i guess i just always have been around better beer more often then cheap beer. some people are passionate about wine, or cigars, or whatever....but i love my beer good night, sweet dreams
